To accelerate the world’s transition to indoor farming.

VIGEO GARDENS began as a humble venture in the basement, with a mission to grow microgreens specifically for cancer patients, providing them with nutrient-dense food options to support their health. This small-scale operation, driven by our passion for both agriculture and patient care, quickly demonstrated the potential of indoor farming. As we navigated through various challenges and opportunities, we experienced significant growth, necessitating a move to a more expansive space. This led us to relocate to the Bounce Innovation Hub in Akron, Ohio, where our dedicated team immersed themselves in mastering the intricacies of indoor farming.

With our relentless commitment to innovation and sustainability, VIGEO GARDENS continued to expand, transforming from a 1,000 square-foot operation into the impressive Rubber City Farm. Now occupying nearly 30,000 square feet in the historic BF Goodrich tire factories in downtown Akron, our farm symbolizes the fusion of modern agricultural techniques with the city’s rich industrial heritage. Today, VIGEO GARDENS stands as a testament to the power of perseverance and vision, providing fresh, locally-grown produce to the community while pioneering new standards in urban farming.
